    Siding Services

    Siding Services We Offer in

From new installations and full replacements to exterior painting, our siding services in Lincoln cover the major ways homeowners update and protect their exteriors.

    Siding installation

    Siding installation

New siding installation in Lincoln starts with measuring the walls, prepping the sheathing, and adding house wrap and flashing before the first panel goes up. Trim, corners, and soffit details are finished to match your home’s lines.
    Siding replacement

    Siding replacement

We remove the old siding, inspect the sheathing for rot or moisture damage, make repairs, then install your new panels and trim. Site cleanup and debris haul-away are part of the job.
    Siding painting

    Siding painting

If your panels are still solid, painting refreshes them without a full replacement. We wash the surface, scrape and sand problem spots, caulk gaps, prime bare areas, and apply exterior-grade coatings to walls, trim, and shutters.
    Siding Materials
Siding Materials We Install in Lincoln

Built for New England freeze-thaw swings and humid summers. Choosing the right siding Lincoln homeowners can rely on starts with the material. Compare how each material handles durability, upkeep, and curb appeal.

    Vinyl siding
    Vinyl siding

The most budget-friendly way to wrap a home. Vinyl will not rot, peel, or attract insects, and its color runs through the panel, so scuffs from ice and branches stay hidden. Expansion joints let it move safely through winter freeze-thaw cycles.

    Composite siding

It’s engineered for durability while recreating the texture and appearance of traditional wood. Composite siding offers a lower-maintenance alternative for homeowners who want defined grain and dimensional profiles without the same upkeep required by natural wood.

    Composite siding
    Fiber cement siding
    Fiber cement siding

Often called Hardie board, fiber cement blends cement, sand, and cellulose into a plank that shrugs off moisture, fire, and carpenter ants. It holds paint for years and remains dimensionally stable through temperature swings from single digits to humid August heat.

    Wood siding

Wood siding brings natural texture and traditional character to an exterior. It can be painted or stained to complement the architecture, making it especially suitable for homes where maintaining a classic appearance matters.

    Wood siding
    ACRE siding
    ACRE siding

Made from recycled materials and designed to resemble natural wood, ACRE siding offers a distinctive option for homeowners seeking a traditional appearance while using an alternative material.

    Boral/TruExterior siding

It’s designed to deliver the look and workability of traditional siding with improved resistance to common issues such as moisture-related movement, cracking, and splitting. This type of siding can work well for detailed exterior applications where durability and dimensional stability matter.

    properties we serve

    Lincoln Properties We Serve

How our approach shifts with the architecture. Lincoln homes rarely look alike, so the siding Lincoln properties need can vary considerably depending on age, architecture, and existing wall conditions. We read each structure first, then plan the work around it.

    Antique colonials and farmhouses

    Antique colonials and farmhouses

We match original clapboard exposure, corner boards, and casing profiles so a re-side still reads period-correct. Settled framing gets shimmed flat before anything goes on.
    Mid-century and modern residences

    Mid-century and modern residences

Flat planes and long horizontal lines show every wave in a wall, so we focus on dead-straight courses, tight reveals around large window openings, and clean transitions where board-and-batten meets stone or glass.
    Estate and multi-wing properties

    Estate and multi-wing properties

Bigger footprints mean more elevations, dormers, and detached garages or barns. We stage Lincoln siding work wing by wing, keeping drives and entries usable, and hold color and profile consistent across every building on the lot.

We had a great experience with Plum Pro overall. Yuk was very professional and well-organized while working with us on a proposal and contract to fix our deck after it was severely damaged by a fallen tree. He set us up with an accelerated timeline to help us coordinate this project with some of our other repairs, and aside from some weather delays stuck to it pretty well overall.

We could not have asked for a better team than Plum ProExteriors for our siding and window project. From start to finish, the process went smoothly. At our initial meeting, Yuk did a great job of explaining all of the different options available for our project. He then provided us with a very detailed estimate that gave us the confidence that there would not be any hidden/surprise costs/fees, which there were not. Once the contract was signed, Yuk did a great job of communicating when the project would start.

Yuk and the crew at Plum ProExteriors did an excellent job installing 7 Pella Architectural double-hung windows in my 1911 Dutch Colonial. Prior to providing a proposal, Yuk measured not once but twice to ensure the windows fit perfectly. Two of three windows were part of a bay window where the frames were no longer perfectly square. None the less, the crew got the windows to fit without issue. They finished with caulking any gaps inside and out for all the windows and finished the job in one day. The crew was clean and neat and even took away the old storm window frames. I already have received compliments on how well the windows look. Their price was fair and I would definitely hire Plum ProExteriors again. Thanks guys!

Yuk is definitely an A+. I felt very comfortable with him and trusted throughout the entire process. We ran into a few issues along the way and that’s to be expected, but Yuk was always available and made good on his promises. If I had to criticize one thing it would be that he doesn’t have a great carpenter for interior finish work, but in fairness he did make me aware that this was not something his crew normally does. Love the end product and the neighbors do too!

We have a full house of windows to replace and we are so happy we found Yuk thanks to a recommendation on a local Facebook group. Yuk quoted the entire job and was transparent in his pricing. Yuk was patient walking us through the process and updating quotes when we decided to start only with the largest and least efficient windows.

I hired Plum ProExteriors based on the quality of work I saw when I came across a renovation project they were doing in the area. I had roof, windows, doors, siding and decking done.I was very impressed with the depth of knowledge Yuk has in his trade. Communication was excellent. He kept me updated on the progress when I wasn’t there. Yuk and his crew worked efficiently and more importantly the quality of work was exceptional.

    Lincoln Siding Questions, Answered

Which siding material is best for Massachusetts weather?

For Lincoln’s freeze-thaw winters, fiber cement and insulated vinyl hold up best – both shrug off moisture swings and hold their color. Cedar suits historic homes if you commit to upkeep. We match the material to your exposure, style, and budget.

What affects the price of a siding replacement in Lincoln?

Wall square footage, material choice, trim detail, and how much sheathing or rot repair we find once the old siding comes off. Older homes often need more prep, so a free estimate reflects the actual cost of your house before anything is booked.

Does siding installation come with a warranty?

Yes. Your panels carry the manufacturer’s product warranty, and our installation is backed by workmanship coverage. You get the paperwork in writing at closeout, so you know what’s covered and who to call if something needs attention.

What determines how long a siding replacement takes?

For siding projects in Lincoln, house size, siding type, hidden repairs behind old panels, and New England weather windows all shape the schedule. With 8+ years of experience, we walk the property first, map a realistic sequence, and flag any changes right away if what’s behind the wall shifts the plan.

How do I choose a trustworthy, licensed siding contractor?

Ask to see current license and insurance, confirm the contractor pulls the permits, read recent reviews from nearby towns, and get the full scope in writing before you sign off on a Lincoln siding project.

What maintenance does new siding need?

Less than most homeowners expect. Rinse the walls once a year, keep gutters clear so water isn’t sheeting down the panels, and check caulk at trim and windows each spring. Cedar and painted surfaces need refinishing on a longer cycle.
